HOURS OF OPERATION: The Museum is open from June 1 thru September 30th on Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 1:00 to 5:00 PM. The Museum is open at other times during special celebrations and by appointment. No charge for admission (donationsaccepted).
Historical Museum At St. Gertrude
The Historical Museum at St. Gertrude in Cottonwood has regular visiting hours and special events during the year.
Former Fish Creek Lookout Log Cabin
This historical cabin was donated in 1961 to Idaho County Historical Society Mining Museum and is now located on East Main Street in Grangeville. The outdoor display contains many original machines and equipment used in early gold mining in Idaho County.
Idaho County Courthouse
Our County Courthouse has interesting displays of Idaho Gems and Minerals, Idaho County 4-H Club achievements, and ‘Legacy to Idaho County’ Historical Photo Albums.
Kirkwood Ranch Historical Museum
Located on the Snake River in Hells Canyon National Recreation Area, this historical ranch and museum is accessible via hike from Pittsburgh Landing , via a rugged ATV trail from Cow Camp above Lucile, Idaho, or by taking a Jet Boat Tour through one of our member guides:
